Detroit Garment Group will be hosting their first inaugural fundraiser called SPARK in just a few weeks. Spark will consist of anyone and everyone who is involved with and supports the efforts of DGG. The event will be held from 7-10 p.m., Thursday, October 13 at One Woodward, downtown Detroit.
The guest of honor for this lovely event will be the very successful Jeffry Aronsson, founder and CEO of Aronsson Group, former CEO of Oscar de la Renta (1993-2003), Marc Jacobs (2003), and Donna Karan (2004-2006) just to name a few.
Guests are welcome to dress according to theme, “The Future of Fashion” by wearing futuristic and fashionable attire. They can also enjoy small bites and cocktails while networking with the who’s who of the Detroit fashion community. The event will also entail an impressive silent auction, a fun raffle, and a curated-fashion exhibit from local Michigan fashion designers.
The entertainment will be led by Emily Thornhill aka Thornstryker – a fellow fashion designer and the NBA’s first ever female DJ. After dancing and mingling, attendees can create keepsake memories with photo and gif fun for their social media via The Traveling PhotoBooth.
