Print Frenzy in Paris

Yes my fellow fashionistas and fashionistos, Fashion Week has come to a close as Paris Fashion Week (PFW) just ended its line of ingenious designers. Scrolling through Style.com has become my weekly tradition for the past month and as I was viewing the galleries of PFW, one thing quickly caught my attention. The plethora of prints and patterns, and not just the regular polka dots, stripes, and floral, but multi-colored, intricate, ditzy, quirky, and conversational prints.  Gone were the looks of monochromatic ensembles as seen in New York Fashion Week. The Parisians threw an abundance of printed frocks which gave a refreshing break from the continuous color blocking trend during spring and summer. Here are a few designers from PFW that would most likely describe printing and patterning as “the more the merrier.”

As you can see, Parisians do not take print designs lightly. Are you looking forward to the pattern overload next spring?
