2011 CMA Awards – Hot Red Carpet Arrivals!

Nashville, Tennessee was home to one of country music’s biggest nights of the year as it celebrated the 2011 CMA Awards last week. There were a variety of looks, but the gowns stole the show. Sparkles and neutrals were clearly the runway winners. Fitted gowns were also on trend as many of the gowns hugged the ladies’ figures nicely.

Some of our favorite gowns included looks from the following women. Taylor Swift looked great in a regal J Mendel gown. Much akin to a wedding gown, Taylor’s long and lean stature went well with the bodice of the gown. Faith Hill was sassy and fun in her fitted  Chado Ralph Rucci gown from his S/S 2012 collection. Her big hair was the perfect accessory for this simply stated gown. Hillary Scott gave us old Hollywood at it’s best with her gown, which was designed by Reem Acra. The champagne dress complemented her wonderfully. Her hair and makeup were reminiscent of old Hollywood circa Victoria Lake. Carrie Underwood also chose a gown by Reem Acra to kick off her CMA appearance. The gold, sequined, cap-sleeved gown was perfect for the long walk down the red carpet. It was perfectly fitted and left her looking elegant. Her hair was somewhat informal , which helped balance the look. Overall, these ladies were stunning.
