Say Goodbye to Nordstrom at Partridge Creek

Nordstrom at Partridge Creek will Close Its Doors on September 13, 2019

Nordstrom at The Mall at Partridge Creek is now closed. Nordstrom announced the closing of its Partridge Creek store back in June so it can focus on its Nordstrom Rack discount stores and online sales. Nordstrom employees have been given an opportunity to work at the Somerset Collection location if they choose.

We spoke with one employee in the women’s clothing department (that would like to remain anonymous) that said, “Somerset is just too far for me to drive to so I’ll be looking for something else”.

The other anchor store located at the opposite end of the mall, Carson’s, closed last year and now both storefronts will sit empty. Nordstrom hasn’t made any announcements advising the public that they are having issues or that they are planning to close more stores but this closure does come after Nordstrom closed two of its full-line stores. One at MacArthur Center in Norfolk, Virginia, and the other at The Mall at Wellington Green in Wellington, Florida,  last April.

At this time, we have received word that Nordstrom at Somerset Collection has zero plans to shut down and is still going strong. So if you’re in need to shop Nordstrom, you’ll have to head to Troy from here on out.
