MM-O-DD’s Third Annual International Design Dare Reveal To Be Held at Belle Isle Aquarium

Accessory Designers Come Together for International Design Dare Reveal

 

The Metropolitan Museum Design Detroit’s 3rd annual International Design Dare Reveal will be held at the Belle Isle Aquarium, November 2, 2019, from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. A diverse group of accessory designers will present one extraordinary look from their newest collection for the designated theme of Culture, Couture and Culinary.

The evening’s collaborative supporters will provide an array of services including event prop design by the Display Group, staffing, and musical vibes by Jenesis Entertainment, Botanical design by LaShee Floral, and  Design; with signature libations by Pernod Ricard.

Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit (MM-O-DD) is a non-profit with a strong focus on the Design Industry to all ages by engaging individuals with educational enrichment and opportunities. The event produced by Leslie Pilling and co-produced by Shannon Lazovski, will support MM-O-DD’s mission and will offer a meet and greet for the public to directly connect with international shoe, handbag, and jewelry designers.

Each design will be presented in a gallery exhibition and will be available for purchase. The talented participants include: Olga Babushkina, Eric Beaman, Armageddon Beach Party, dR.Kno by Efe Bes, Tom Carbone, Charara by Adnan Charara, Aki Choklat, Ahmineh Hamad, Knit Sew Fabulous by Lynette Halalay, Boswell Hardnick, Rock Lorde by Meridith Lorde-Cole, Barreletixx by Stefanie Miller, Derby Hats by Rachelle by Rachelle Willnus, Rebel Nell, Q By Qs by Que Shebley, Linda Solomon, Elizabeth Youngblood, Meredith Honkanen, Pingree Detroit by Mary Storey and Josie Teachout.

Guests in attendance will enjoy a plethora of international accessory designers along with their incredible designs, a museum-style exhibition, a meet and greet with designers, live model exhibition, networking opportunities, signature libations and tastings. 

Proceeds from the Design Dare will support the Metropolitan Museum Design Detroit’s mission and future programming for educational enrichment and insight regarding the design industry. MM-O-DD offers opportunities that nurture personal passions and professions.
