L’Oréal’s Jean-Paul Agon’s Successor Announced

 

New news from the beauty brand, L’Oréal. L’Oréal’s Board of Directors recently announced the name of Jean-Paul Agon’s successor as Chief Executive Officer. Nicolas Hieronimus, age 33, will take the position this Spring. Nicolas Hieronimus joined L’Oréal 33 years ago and has spent each year with the Group occupying many locations and divisions. He’s actually been Deputy CEO in charge of Divisions since 2017.

These changes will take effect on the first of May in 2021. L’Oréal’s current chief Jean-Paul Agon, who turns 65 in July, will stay on as chairman. Barbara Lavernos, age 52, will become deputy CEO.
