Sewing the Threads of Detroit’s Fashion Community by ISAIC

 

If you enjoyed ISAIC’s Drinks X Design event in April, then ISAIC’s next event coming this fall is right up your alley!  ISAIC is developing a series of roundtable discussions featuring industry experts to share their experiences, tips, and resources. The next event is FREE and will kick off Detroit Month of Design with Business of Fashion: Tips from the Pros and is called, Sewing the Threads of Detroit’s Fashion Community. The event will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

These informative sessions will be located at ISAIC – Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center and are geared to bring the fashion community together to offer individuals the opportunity to learn not only from local experts but also from each other.

ISAIC Education Director, Katie O’Connor will lead a discussion on how local designers prepare for production. Attendees will also benefit from networking and will receive information and tools on how to build their business.
