The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit’s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping and dining destination, is celebrating Summer with a variety of family-friendly events all summer long. Visit The Village and shop for Summer necessities at the beautiful landscaped outdoor shopping center with over 50 unique and sought-after retailers and restaurants.
Each week during the Summer months, The Village of Rochester will host a variety of events that are open to the public; many events being free of charge. These family-friendly events cater to everyone. Whether you’re a small child or a senior, an athlete or a musician, a fashionista or a foodie, there is something for you at The Village!
Schedule of Upcoming Events, June 30 – July 7, 2023:
- Friday, June 30, 2023 – Food Truck Friday, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Festival Park. Every Friday this summer The Village of Rochester Hills will host a variety of savory and sweet food trucks and showcase performances by local talent. BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances. Each week will bring something new to experience. There will also be lawn games and sidewalk chalk each week. Bring your appetite and your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy some free quality entertainment outdoors. Guests can grab something savory from Estia Greek Street Food. They can also grab a full meal in a bowl or a delectable sweet treat from Delectabowl! Melissa Behring Trio will be performing raw, unfiltered, open Americana sounds from the past century. Take your favorite song, strip down the performance to the core elements, played by seasoned professionals, without any fluffy stuff and that’s what MB3 acoustic is all about.
- Wednesday, July 5, 2023 – Music & Me with Ms. Jenna / Theme: Grandma’s Rhymes, 10:00 am-11:00 am at Festival Park. Mommies and Daddies, Grandmas and Grandpas, Uncles and Aunts are invited to bring their little ones Wednesday mornings during the summer to The Village to partake in our free Music & Me program. Children will be able to sing, dance, and interact with each other during these fun morning performances. Bring a blanket and be prepared to be inspired by the musical talents of your children. This class is geared towards children, from birth to five years old. The program recognizes early childhood music for infants to kindergarteners with adult involvement.
- Friday, July 7, 2023 – Food Truck Friday, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Festival Park. Throughout the evening guests can grab something amazing from Imperial Taco Truck and Egg Roll Diva. While that’s going on, DJ Sean Mischley will be performing.
