M: Mission Moreau

CHOCHENG, founded by Cho Cho Cheng, offers an Autumn/Winter 24 collection that allows us to embark on a journey through the pages of “Diary of a Chambermaid,” following the transformation of an undercover agent into “M,” the Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service, a figure who precedes and ultimately oversees James Bond. “Mission Moreau.”

Infused with the essence of Jeanne Moreau, Jacque Demy, and the whimsy of the Pink Panther, this collection invites viewers into a reality of mesmerizing glamour and subtle humor, a signature blend characteristic of CHOCHENG’s style.

On the runway, models resemble secret agents dressed in lively colors of cranberry and clementine, adorned with brilliant makeup, sleek coiffures, and angular millinery, in perfectly tailored garments. Intricate handiwork, including cotton petals and coils, embellishes collars and cuffs, weaving through breathable, versatile fabrics like cotton boucle, cotton crepe, and cotton velvet. The meticulous hand embroidery of glass pearls and Swarovski crystals adds a touch of sparkling allure.

This distinguished womenswear label celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. With a flagship in New York’s Fifth Avenue, CHOCHENG emphasizes 100% natural materials and cruelty-free practices. Each garment is hand-sewn in London using traditional Savile Row tailoring techniques, eschewing commercial interfacing and machine finishing for a bespoke touch.

From handmade shoulder pads to intricate embroidery, every detail reflects the brand’s dedication to quality. With a focus on comfort, craftsmanship, and environmental preservation, CHOCHENG offers a whimsical take on traditional British tailoring, appealing to a discerning clientele worldwide.
