Glamorous Moms Foundation Invites Michigan Designers to Showcase Designs at Annual Fundraiser; The Glamorous Luncheon and Fashion Show
The Glamorous Moms Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) that was founded in October of 2019. The mission of the organization is to provide support, inspire, and build confidence in women and children in our community to enhance their quality of life, leading them to health, happiness, and safety. We are proud to support other service organizations to create a community of giving and unity. We strive to bring comfort and life necessities (education, daily needs, and monetary support) to women and children to make meaningful change.
The GMF annual fundraiser, The Glamorous Luncheon, is an afternoon event that happens annually in an effort to bring friends, sponsors, and community supporters together to help raise money for the foundation’s community campaigns & efforts, and to support their mission.
The luncheon is a “women supporting women” event and this year’s event was held at the Townsend Hotel on May 21, 2022 from 10am-2pm and was hosted by 96.3 WDVD’s Lauren Crocker. The day entailed a plated lunch and dessert, a shopping experience with eleven female business owners/Michigan vendors, an award ceremony for the organization’s top volunteer, networking, a program explaining the group’s community efforts, and a fashion show featuring female Michigan designers/women-owned fashion brands.
