Once again mass market retailer Target will be carrying another hot clothing line and it starts this weekend. William Rast, a denim and fashion brand co-founded by pop sensation Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, will hit Target stores nation wide December 19, 2010. The affordable line will feature denim, leather motorcycle jackets, outerwear and edgy day wear ranging from $16.99 to $199.99. For a limited time only fashionistas and William Rast fans will be able to buy pieces from the line only up until January 22, 2011. The men’s collection is known to be more rugged and edgy while the women’s line is more focused on tomboyish cuts and tailored pieces with feminine details.
Based in Los Angeles, the William Rast company was founded in 2005 and now is a lifestyle brand with a complete collection of menswear, womenswear, footwear and eye wear. The William Rast Collection usually retails anywhere from $50 to $700 and is carried in high-end department stores. The label is successfully selling in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Germany, Russia and the United Kingdom.
For a few years now, Target has teamed up with top fashion designers such as Alice Temperly, Zac Posen, and Jean Paul Gaultier with extremely low price points to allow the average shopper the opportunity to indulge in high fashion without the high prices.
