This Sunday, November 13th, the Walk Fashion Show Emerging Designer Showcase will takes place at The Eastern Market in Shed #3 at 12:00 pm. Founded by Daishawn Franklin and Crystal Bailey in 2009, WALK recruits nearly 500 women to each casting call and over 2,000 fashion forward friends from the metro Detroit area and beyond to each show. We are proud to announce Detroit Fashion News blogger Kelechi Uchendu will be Walk’s Official Blogger/Ambassador. Be sure to watch for her at the show and be sure to say hi!WALK is known for their fashion show destinations. They have held events at 320 Studios New York City during New York Fashion Week, the Michigan Science Center, the Detroit Opera House, Masonic Temple, Cobo Hall Convention Center, The Detroit Roostertail, and The Charles H Wright Museum of African American History.
This Sunday at The Eastern Market’s Shed #3, the doors will open at 12:00 pm and the Walk Fashion Show Designer Showcase will begin at 2:00 pm.
Tickets prices are as follows:
- $25.00 General Admission
- $40.00 Runway VIP
- ALL DAY PASS
- $60 General Admission
- $125 VIP
After the showcase guests are welcome to attend a VIP reception beginning at 5:00 pm with a fashion show immediately following at 6:00 pm. This is a black tie charity affair to benefit HIV/AIDS. Ticket prices for this portion of the day are as follows:

- $100.00 VIP (includes Open Bar Courtesy of Remy Martin | hors d’oeuvres | Front Row Seating)
