Irene Luft’s latest collection, “Shadow on the Back of the Display”, recently shown during Paris Fashion Week resembles, with creative intention, alternative realities and their underlying societies. When designing, Luft was influenced by these societies, how they are structured, how people behave, and how they dress.
Luft was inspired to create this collection by famous movies such as Tron, 1984, Blade Runner, and Equilibrium. The overall collection unites in skillful harmony of opposites.
Luft enjoys visualizing her fantasies and transposing them to intricate designs you can see, feel, and wear. Words like eccentric and opulent, delicate and dominate are often used when describing her collections, especially this one.
